ABOUT
Tulsa Band began in 1985 as a small band & orchestra repair shop by original owner, Paul Felzke where it quickly grew into a full-line music store. In 1997, the store was moved to our old location at 54th & Mingo. Tulsa Band was rebranded as “Tulsa Band & Guitars” in 2018 as Trey Johnson, an employee of several years, purchased the shop, and expanded the retail selection to include a wider range of guitars, pedals and accessories. In July of 2023 we rebranded to Tulsa Guitar Co. and moved to our new home at 2432 E 15th St(15th & Lewis).
At Tulsa Band & Guitars/Tulsa Guitar Co., we pride ourselves on having a wide selection of musical gear at prices for every budget, from the beginner to the professional. We are family-owned and musician owned, with expert knowledge gathered from years of experience in the world of music and musical gear.

Trey Johnson
Owner & Operator
Born and raised in Tulsa, Trey attended Bixby High School and earned a music degree from the University of Tulsa where he played trumpet in various ensembles. As a guitarist and vocalist, he has also recorded a full length album titled “Into the Clouds” with his band “Marking Strangers”. Trey began at TB&G in 2014 as sales rep, and took over as store owner in 2018.
